Manager - Warehousing & Distribution

Role & Responsibilities:-

• Oversee/coordinate and manage overall warehouse operations (3PL or otherwise), including import and export activities.
• Ensure compliance with import and export regulations, including obtaining necessary permits, licenses, and documentation for customs clearance.
• Manage stock and inventory levels ensuring accurate stock counts through regular cycle stocktakes and reconciliations; with emphasis on safekeeping and systems/process flows
• Optimize logistic performance metrics, such as TATs, lead times and transportation costs & Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and operational efficiencies within the warehouse and logistics functions with accurate and quick retrieval documentation.
• Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities, including transportation, shipping, and delivery of goods & maintain accurate records and documentation related to import and export activities, including customs duties, taxes, freight charges and transportation expenses.
• Provide regular reports and updates to management on warehouse, logistics, import, and export operations, including performance metrics and key initiatives including daily schedules and cost analyses
• Coordinate with customers, clients, suppliers, vendors, transporters and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of domestic sales (physical and online) as well as import and export orders.

• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Ability to oversee all logistics functions including supervision and interface with own team, company colleagues; third party solutions providers for maximum sales and quality service.
• Help achieve budgeted Company topline, and bottom-line targets through effective warehouse and distribution management.

Education:

• Bachelors Degree/ MBA
• 3-6 years of handling warehouse, logistic & handling import/export
