Job Position: Manager – Sale of Material

Job Location: Mumbai / Bangalore (on-site)

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to effectively position and sell materials to diverse brands.
  • Identify key market segments, comprehend proposals for business initiatives to effectively reach potential brand clients.
  • Analyze demand and supply dynamics to grasp business modules effectively. Collaborate with the commercial team to devise competitive pricing strategies, negotiating contracts with customers to ensure profitability and uphold long-term partnerships while prioritizing customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the entire sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing deals with brand clients.
  • Collaborate closely with the procurement division of brands/recyclers to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Consistently conduct extensive visits to both existing and potential customers to actively generate new leads and opportunities. Additionally, uphold the standard of service excellence by establishing and enforcing organizational standards.
  • Conducting forecast, preparing budgets, and striving to achieve targets aligned with the budget.
  • Maintain and sustain strong connections with pivotal customers, encompassing plastic manufacturers, packaging companies, and potential buyers.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in sales
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing revenue
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful procurement deals.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent understanding of quality and quantity management in the procurement context.
  • Strong customer focus and relationship building skills
  • Ability to travel as required
