Responsibilities and Roles
Receive input from the sales department for fabric requirements through sales orders as well as informal input from other processes.
Verify the fabric specification with reference to the existing fabric code, and a new fabric code is generated if there are changes in any of the fabric attributes, such as size, colour, denier, or strength. If there’s a change in the fabric size, only the new fabric code is generated without a change in the tape product code or tape recipe.
Plan for the production planning of fabric from the PRODUCTION PLANNING REPORT
Prepare the work order for FABRIC in ERP.
Mutually decide the production planning and priority of FABRIC and enter the details of FABRIC product code, FABRIC product name, FABRIC product folder number, Loom nos. which are to be doffed, and new work order to be started where Looms are doffed, including approximate start time and end time in PRODUCTION PLANNING.

Prepare the work order for GRAVURE PRINTING, ADHESIVE LAMINATION, SLITTING, and INK KITCHEN in ERP.
