CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Designing of arrangements of the solar panels for Rooftop & Ground Mounted & other various supported Electrical equipment & selection of cables for plant including layouts & schematic diagrams and calculation of technical Sizing, BOQ/BOM.
- Drive the negotiation and execution of enabling agreements of utility scale renewable energy projects.
- Drive the execution of Onsite renewable and other distributed energy projects.
- Explore opportunities of open access, Bi-lateral PPAs, Virtual PPAs, find potential partners, understand regulations and execute agreements.
- Track and report on delivery and performance against program schedules and design.
- Manage the activities of partner teams and deliver the day-to-day management.
- Track, monitor and report carbon emission of the network.
- Prepare monthly sustainability report and publish.
- Maintain knowledge of Renewable Energy market trends, opportunities and new technologies. Innovate and introduce green energy initiatives.
ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES
- Experience of energy or renewable energy [solar PV, onshore or offshore wind and other technologies, corporate PPA’s and/or Corporate Energy procurement].
- Experience negotiating power purchase agreements, ideally both physical and financial contracts for differences.
- Strong understanding of environmental attributes, aka “Renewable Energy Certificates” (RECs), including value and markets
- Excellent understanding of renewable energy incentives and regulatory structures.
- Technical understanding of energy systems and renewable energy technologies, and ability to assess new renewable energy technologies and complementary technologies to identify new opportunities.
- Understanding of GRI standards of Carbon emission reporting.
- Having knowledge of PV SYST or similar software and should have good knowledge for conducting all essential tests required in entire Solar Project Execution.
- Outstanding project management skills, including experience with appropriate software tools
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver meaningful business results with minimal supervision
- Excellent communications skills (written, verbal and presentation)
- Deep knowledge of Renewable Energy Project Finance and/or Accounting
- Strong mathematical and financial modelling skills Strong understanding of risk associated with long term power purchase agreements
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION & CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Engineering.
- Must be skilled in the use of MS Word, MS Powerpoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Project (optional).
