Job Description:
The position will have the responsibility of assisting Category Head – Water Heaters.
He/She will be responsible for assisting the Category Head in the development of product specifications,
product development & go-to-market activities. He/She should monitor competition activities/offerings on
a regular basis and be able to compile and disseminate competitive program. The position will be
responsible for product marketing support and help the Category Head in creating sales tools for
supporting sales force. He/She will be responsible for creating training materials, fact sheets and product
comparison presentations. He/She should be willing to travel regularly for market visits to gauge trends
basis discussion with retailers/distributors/end consumers and sales team. He/She will be responsible for
regular trackers/sales data analysis to indicate trends and highlights.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
o Create and maintain database of competition models based on Product features and
USPs.
o Get market data on special schemes and seasonal offers from competition.
o Track advertisements from major competition brands in Print, TV and online platforms.
Usage of I Bank Live tool for capturing above data.
o Procurement of competition SKUs – New launches, best sellers as necessary
o Participate in product tear-downs with Engineering and gather crucial information on
product construction, working and costing.

o Competition benchmarking and comparison with the proposed new product.
o Track the status of key project milestones with WH project manager.
- Field Trial Management – NPD and Major product upgrades
o Shortlisting of candidates in line with the requirement
o Liaise with engineering, service and logistics for product dispatch and installation.
o Prepare Field trial questionnaire and capture feedback on regular basis.
o Visit customer sites and get firsthand information of product usage and performance.
