Lead - D2C E-Commerce
The purpose of this role is to guide a team of high-performance individuals to cover design, digital operations, customer operations, and P&L of the company's website and other marketplaces.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE ROLE:
- Lead the building of a sustainable new-age consumer-oriented fashion e-commerce business (D2C & marketplace)
- Responsible for managing the overall P&L - (INR 150 Cr of D2C) channels including marketplaces
- Develop business case assessments and cost / benefit analyses for e- commerce spending and initiatives.
- Lead the ongoing setup and operations of a customer friendly/easy to navigate ecommerce portal
- Lead the development, launch and scale of DIY initiative in new categories
- Ensure a high-quality user experience including site navigation, content development, checkout process and promotional campaigns
- Supervise recruitment, training, retention, and management of the e-commerce team in accordance with the firm's corporate objectives and personnel policies. Lead and Manage a high performing team
- Financial Accountability- Manage the P&L of 150 Cr across channels including market place.
Education Qualification- MBA / PGDM:
Technical & Professional Knowledge required:
1. Leading and developing high-performing teams
2. An independent, creative problem-solver with great business acumen and analytical skills
3. Ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously
Experience required- 12 - 15 Years of Experience with:
1) Ideal candidate could be someone who has managed own portal and marketplaces and scaled the business to at least 100,000 transactions across channels in a year.
2) Lead D2C business and ecommerce/marketplace for a startup/established brand with experience in scaling up the channel extensively
3) Should understand the nuances of demand generation for own portal
4) Capable enough to research and gather consumer insights
