Your Role: Process Engineer
- Process Improvement:
- Responsible for continuous improvement of Development Processes across GPO.
- Increase process efficiency by implementing Lean, Six-Sigma or other TQM process improvement methodologies.
- Development and refinement of engineering development processes, methods and tools with focus on optimization and re-usability
- Coordination of development tools improvement activities based on project and process needs.
- Conduct assessments and audits and publish periodic reports to senior leadership
- Work with various project teams to assess work products and refine software development processes
- Proactive and hands-on support the definition of improvement plans and action items
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and updates into the software development lifecycle.
- Identify and implement industry best practices, tools, and technologies to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Coach project teams in the implementation of processes and best practices to achieve quality goals and operational efficiency
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Foster collaboration and effective communication between development, operations, and other cross-functional teams to promote a continuous improvement culture.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the process improvement space, evaluating and recommending their adoption where appropriate
YOUR BACKGROUND:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- At least 3-5 years of experience in the Automotive industry with skills in Quality processes and methods.
- Experience working in STAGES (Method Parks) or other process management tools
- Experience with JIRA, Git a plus
- Lean Six-Sigma Green belt certification a plus
- Good communication skills including moderation, problem solving and have a structured approach.
- Knowledge in Automotive standards (APQP, ISO 26262), agile methods
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams from different cultures and backgrounds
