Job Responsibilities (Duties)
- Work with Car plants across globe for material flow simulation
- Understand the Master BOM and Plant layout for preparation of Inputs required for the simulation
- Good Understanding of Material flow in a Manufacturing Plant
- Modeling and programming of necessary business rules and logics
- Creation of material flow simulation experiments for production and logistic systems
- Preparation and evaluation of simulation results, development of visualization components for evaluation, analysis, and comparison of simulation experiments
- Structured analysis of material flow processes and requirements in production und logistics, and preparation of necessary data
- Development of standardized building blocks and module libraries for simulation and their verification and validation
- Cooperation on value-stream optimization to achieve a transparent, agile and efficient material flow in the manufacturing plants
Technical Skills Required
- Creation and modification of Material flow simulation models
- Intra plant logistics process Simulation modeling starting from dock till point of use
- Validation and verification of simulation models
- Elaboration and evaluation of scenarios for optimization of KPIs
- Object Oriented Programming skills, Expertise in SIMTALK programming language
- Statistical analysis of data generated from simulation models
- Tecnomatix Plant Simulation / AnyLogic / FlexSim
- AutoCAD, MicroStation
- Soft Skills
- Good Communication (Written and Oral)
