About JM Financial:
JM Financial is an integrated and diversified financial services group. The Group's primary businesses include:
(a) Investment Bank (IB) shall cater to Institutional, Corporate, Government and Ultra High Networth clients and includes investment banking, institutional equities and research, private equity funds, fixed income, syndication and finance;
(b) Mortgage Lending includes both wholesale mortgage lending and retail mortgage lending (home loans, education institutions lending and LAP);
(c) Alternative and Distressed Credit includes the asset reconstruction business and alternative credit funds; and
(d) Asset management, Wealth management and Securities business (Platform AWS) shall provide an integrated investment platform to individual clients and includes wealth management business, broking, PMS and mutual fund business.
Management Senior Analyst Program:
- Proposed - 9 months rotation program
- Proposed Designation -Management Senior Analyst (Level: Senior Analyst)
- Qualification - MBA / CA (Batch 2022 / 2023)
Program Structure:
A rotation program spread over 9 months wherein the Management Senior Analysts will be exposed to various businesses & products that JM Financial Group offers and would spend 4 - 8 weeks in each business.
Proposed businesses to be covered under Integrated Investment Bank and Mortgage Lending:
- Investment Banking
- Institutional Equities
- Private Equity
- Bespoke Finance Group
- Financial Institution Funding Group
- Wholesale Mortgage Lending
-While we aspire to ensure rotations in maximum number of businesses as above, the number of rotations and the rotation tenure will be driven by the business need to ensure real business experience to the Analyst.
Program Brief:
- The Senior Management Analyst's learning ability and performance is assessed throughout the 9-months program by means of a documented performance evaluation and feedback process
- In the course of each of their rotations, the Senior Management Analyst will be given a short-term project or a limited work assignment in a long term / large project.
- The rotations are driven by the idea of the Senior Analyst getting exposure and experience in the particular business and such experience can be achieved either through project-based assignment or by being part of normal business course.
- Wherever the Senior Analyst is assigned a project, the endure will be made to ensure exposure to the day to day working.
- At the end of each rotation, the participant is evaluated against a set of objectives outlined at the start of each rotation.
- The evaluation is conducted by the project guide & mentor, to whom the Senior Management Analyst is assigned.
Evaluation & Feedback:
The evaluation is mainly qualitative, although quantitative scores are rewarded. A mandatory part of the process involves feedback discussion wherein the project guide provides specific feedback narrating instances with various behaviors displayed by the participant.
Confirmation Process:
- At the end of the 9-month program, the feedback from all project guides to be collated.
- HR to make note of businesses where the Management Senior Analyst has performed best and highlight the areas of improvement.
- The Management Senior Analyst will be confirmed at the end of 9 months after successful completion of the Rotation Program.
- Placement with specific businesses will be based on aptitude, performance feedback and organizational need.
Career Path: Career growth will be based on employee readiness, aspirations, business requirement and performance rating.
