Role Overview:
As a Risk Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and effectiveness of various financial models and Risk Management practices. You will lead and execute model performance monitoring, validation, and redocumentation projects across a diverse range of derivative products and models. This role demands proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python, as well as advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Matlab, and statistical modeling techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead model performance monitoring, validation, and redocumentation projects.
- Identify, quantify, and validate model risks, providing actionable recommendations.
- Independently or collaboratively perform initial and ongoing model validation tasks.
- Develop and implement robust testing procedures using coding frameworks like C# and C++.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline model documentation.
- Manage and mentor a team of risk professionals.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in financial engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
- Certificate in Quantitative Finance (CQF) preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Risk Management.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Matlab, and statistical modeling techniques.
- Strong understanding of market Risk Management principles and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Location and Compensation: This position is located for Mumbai/Chennai, and compensation will be based on industry standards.
