Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
What you'll do:
- Supervise, direct, and provide training for direct report(s).
- Troubleshoot complex distributed technology with the ability to diagnose issues and understand and communicate impact effectively to non-technical stakeholders
- Provide 3rd level technical support for end users as appropriate
- Manage and maintain compliance across all infrastructure – Backup, Security, Disaster Recovery etc.
- Execute system improvements through planning and project management
- Facilitate department communications
- Communicate with all levels of management and associates on an ongoing basis regarding project status, cause, for delays and set reasonable time and quality expectations
- Work with outside vendors to ensure that scheduled work is performed in a timely manner
- Develop and maintain work plans and schedules for the team
- Assist with budget management, as required
The Individual
What you'll definitely need:
- Team leadership experience or strong desire to lead people and support their growth
- Experience of working in an enterprise with more that 1000 users
- Expert level technical experience in Infrastructure required – Network, Servers, Storage, Azure
- Effective collaboration, ability to overcome obstacles, can-do attitude
