AddressQA/QC Head
Job Profile- Looking for seasoned professionals handling plant QA/QC role; for General Manager designation, from well-known tyre manufactuirng companies. Willing to work from Balasore, Odhisha location.
Quality Management Systems:
- Promoting quality and performance improvement through out the organisation.
- Achieving quality certification as per ISO/TS16949 and Product Certification as per AIS/BIS/DOT/ECE/GULF Standards.
- Developing a framework of quality standards, procedures & systems and overseeing smooth implementation in shop floor and at supplier end.
- Conducting Quality Management System audits as per ISO/TS-16949, for verifying its compliance.
- Imparting training on quality control and safety aspects.
Supplier Quality Assurance:
- Designing, implementing and improving supplier quality processes ensuring Supplier
- Quality compliance to QMS, regulatory requirements and overall process improvement.
- Performing quality surveillance activities to verify that the supplier furnished material and equipment conforms to the technical and quality requirements of the organisation.
- Assessing the performance of the vendors based on various criterion such as percentage for rejections, quality improvement rate etc.
- Monitoring supplier personnel activities including the witnessing of operations, inspections, examinations or tests to verify purchase order document requirements have been met.
- Rejecting materials found non conforming and collaborating with the supplier to identify a course of action to achieve satisfactory disposition of disclosed non-conformances.
- Introducing Six Sigma and/or equivalent concepts as part of the continuous improvement process to support engineering in identifying and managing risk in accordance with criticality assessment.
- Reviewing supplier generated quality verification documentation to verify conformance to procurement document requirements.
Manufacturing Quality:
- Formulating and managing the Design control, development & implementation of goals, policies, procedures and system pertaining to the Manufacturing/Technical QA/QC/R&D.
- Implementing quality tools thereby to ensure quality control and continual improvement.
- Managing and maintaining the company's quality inspection and product release programmes for incoming and in-process materials, processes and finished goods.
- Identifying quality competence gaps and initiating & delivering effective training related personnel.
- Providing support in problem and defect analysis in materials and production quality related issues.
- Preparing, coordinating, facilitating and following up audit in the department.
- Following up the Corrective/Preventive action plans and their results.
- Monitoring warranty/process rejection analysis/Returned Product Analysis & initiating CAPA.
- Conducting product and process audits as per ISO 9001:2008/TS-16949 for Zero Rejection 500 PPM targets.
