The Role And What Youll Do
Acting as part of the IT Global Development team, the QA Engineer will be responsible for performing Functional Testing across all critical business operational and sales systems. Responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging and following the corrective measure to meet the results. The Engineer should be able to work in all stages of software development to identify and resolve the bugs and issues to. meet the Quality standards.
Responsible for reviewing the requirements, specifications and documentation to provide timely feedback.
Responsible for creating detailed and comprehensive Test Plans & test cases , along with other QA artifacts
Responsible for executing system and/or integration testing to assess functionality, performance, reliability, stability, and compatibility with other systems
Responsible for performing regression and sanity testing for all new releases
Liaise with the internal teams (Development and Business) to understand the test requirements
Responsible for logging issues or bugs and tracking them to resolution
You Have These
Established experience as a QA Engineer with a proven experience of testing complex enterprise level systems and mobile applications
Must have an experience on testing both web and desktop applications along with the mobile applications
Experience of working in Sprint and taking part in the respective ceremonies
Experience of developing and employing Quality Assurance artifacts (test plans, cases and scripts)
Experience in using issue management software like Jira, Bugzilla, Mantis, Azure DevOps, etc.
Troubleshooting skills to narrow down the issues and report that to the system
Knowledge of CRM based applications helpful
Experience on working with international project teams preferred
Excellent English language skills - verbal and written communication skills
Solid understanding of SDLC
Able to expertly follow and work on the QA/test analysis artifacts - Test strategy and plans - Test cases and scripts - Test coverage - Test status report
Able to expertly execute test and plan strategy using a variety of techniques/tools e.g. positive/negative testing, black box testing
Knowledge about automation frameworks like BDD and Page Object Models preferred
Knowledge of at least one programming language like Java, C#, Python and JavaScript preferred
Basic SQL skills helpful

Educated to a degree level as a minimum (BCA, B.E, BTech, MCA, M.E, MTech)
Minimum 3 years professional experience for a large/international corporation
ISTQB certified tester or equivalent qualification beneficial
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with employees at all levels
Excellent attention to detail. Must be meticulous and structured in approach to work
A creative mindset and the ability to approach a problem creatively
Must be analytical be able to apply logic/reasoning and to think in the abstract to see how small details fit into the bigger picture
Can manage expectations realistically from the outset
Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision/direction
Excellent time management and responsiveness
Ready to work on multiple applications and shows accountability in handling the deliverables
Able to transfer the knowledge to other members and be innovative
Please note working hours are typically Monday to Friday 10am 6.00pm (IST) Extended working hours will be required from time to time, especially for assigned US based projects (EST/PST) for this, no overtime will be paid,
