Diamond Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Diamond Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical knowledge of Diamond Quality standards and have expertise in bagging and assorting diamonds. This role is crucial in ensuring that our jewellery meets the highest quality standards and exceeds customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate the quality of diamonds according to established standards and specifications.
Perform comprehensive inspections to assess diamond clarity, color, cut, and carat weight.
Identify and categorize diamonds based on their quality attributes and characteristics.
Utilize specialized equipment and tools to examine diamonds and detect any imperfections or irregularities.
Collaborate with the production team.
Maintain accurate records of diamond inspections, grading results, and inventory levels.
Requirements:
Proven experience in Diamond Quality Assurance or a related field within the jewellery industry.
. In-depth knowledge of diamond grading standards and certification processes.
Proficiency in using gemological equipment and tools for diamond assessment.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify subtle differences in Diamond Quality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and suppliers.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
Certification or training in gemology or diamond grading is preferred but not mandatory.
