Brief on the Organization:
The Indian Institute of Public Health (IIPH) Hyderabad commenced with a mission to deliver public health education, pursue research and advocacy and support policy development. It lays strong emphasis on pursuing public health policy, practice, training and research, positioning its programmes according to the public health priorities of the state and the nation. The institute has brought together a highly qualified and diverse faculty of nationally and internationally trained and extremely motivated public health academics and practitioners. It aims to create an environment that supports excellence in instruction, research and practice.
To facilitate the process of transparent and evidence informed decision making in the field of health, Government of India has created an institutional arrangement called the Health Technology Assessment in India (HTAIn) under the Department of Health Research (DHR). HTAIn is entrusted with the responsibility to collate and where needed generate evidence related to the clinical effectiveness, cost-effectiveness, and safety of medicines, devices and health programs using the Health Technology Assessment (HTA) approach. Indian Institute of Public Health, Hyderabad has been selected as a hub of HTAIn with the mandate of carrying out HTA for government and various other relevant agencies in that region.
- Oversee and manage project accounts and finances in alignment with IIPHH standards.
- Coordinate regularly with DHR for timely development and processing of UCs (Utilization Certificates)
- Collaborate closely with the Finance division to ensure adherence to IIPHH processes.
- Maintain and organize project files and technical documents for easy retrieval and access.
- Manage schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements for project staff.
- Coordinate meetings and make necessary arrangements.
- Prepare background documents, outgoing mail, and correspondence as required.
- Record, transcribe, and circulate meeting minutes.
- Prepare and edit presentations, communications, and other project documents.
- Monitor and respond to incoming communications effectively.
- Interact with donor agency staff when necessary.
- Maintain, update, and manage standard employment contracts and staff insurance.
- Manage personal records of project staff including appointments, leave, training, certificates, and evaluations.
- Conduct orientations for new project staff members.
- Provide project-specific HR support.
- Assist in travel, meeting management, and coordination for project staff, line managers, and the PI.
- Support Finance division on organization-wide finance responsibilities.
- Ensure synchronization between Finance division and project financial requirements within HTA.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by Supervisor/PI to support project goals and objectives.
Essential:
- BBA/B.Com or any Graduation
- Working knowledge or above in Tally, Accounting Practices, ERP systems and Microsoft Office Tools
Desirable:
- MBA/M.Com
Essential:
- 1 year or more experience in managing research Administration or similar projects.
Desirable:
- Developing Statement of Expenditures and Utilization Certificates
