Position Overview:

Boeing team is currently looking for an Experienced Facilities Project Management Specialistto join their team in Bangalore, India to lead significant and major facilities green-field construction and tenant fit-out projects within the Asia-Pacific region, with primary focus in India.

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead cross-functional team of internal business partners and external suppliers in the delivery of facilities construction projects, utilizing accepted Project Management principles and methodology (execution plan development, requirements definition, baseline & change management, risk management, etc…).

  
  

• Lead the development of scenario-based schedule and cost estimates, risk assessments and recommendations in support of business partner initiatives and customer proposals.

  
  

• Collaborate with Supply Chain Management and other stakeholders to establish supplier, contractor and material procurement strategies and tactics that align with project deliverables

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION

  
  

• Qualifications in engineering or equivalent technical experience in facilities engineering and/or construction management fields.

  
  

• Significant experience leading “green-field” construction projects in India, from inception (documenting detailed requirements and building a project execution plan) through design, permitting and construction, to commissioning and close-out utilizing accepted Project Management principles and methodology (PMBOK, PRINCE II, Etc…)

  
  

• Self-motivated, able to work independently and the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team-members, senior leaders and business partners, and external suppliers

  
  

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

9 or more years of relevant experience leading “green-field” construction projects in India.

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+ 8 years' related work experience.
