AddressWe are looking for a motivated and experienced Facilities and Project Manager - based in Pune as part of our manufacturing setup in India.
Your Role
- Manage Facilities - Brownfield as well as green field setups of Pune.
- Coordination for statutory approvals with consultants for BF and GF site at Pune. Green field site facilities management post commissioning of the setup.
- Manage Government officials visiting BF / GF plant for inspection, lead the GF construction site work with GC contractor, ensure the safety, Quality and timeline of the project.
- Coordinates with architecture and engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and drawing details.
- Prepares and reviews bid sheets and contracts for construction.
- Inspects construction and installation progress for conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Develops criteria and performance specifications required to meet unique operating requirements.
- Ensures legal compliance before initiating any activities such as pollution control consent to establish and categorization industry and fire NOC.
- Ensures building and premises meets safety, health standard and legal requirements, health, and Safety of persons at site.
- Leads technical discussions of facility equipment and finalization, Leads facility equipment Installation of DG, HVAC, Lift, UPS etc. and later maintenance of same.
- Initiates and leads cost reduction projects, plans and manages the budget, keeps records of payments.
- Consults project management (technical evaluation only)
- Tenders technical evaluation for civil, MEP by PMC or architect
- Designs electrical infrastructure requirement, installation, load calculations and submission of electrical load requirement to MSEB for getting electrical connection.
- Technical finalization of cleanroom/lead room setup as well as civil and MEP contractor
- Monitors project as per scope and BOQ finalized through D&B contractor.
- Day-to-day site co-ordination between D&B, labour, government officers, and other stakeholders
- Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs.
- Ensure the site 100% site uptime with respect to facility equipment s, maintain Equipment, maintain critical spares, guide technician to resolve technical problems.
- Ensure safety standards and compliance as per industry standards and daily working environment.
- Onboard suppliers, make and renew Annual maintenance contracts of facility equipment s and critical electrical components.
- Maintain factory license, Electrical & other records, working with MSEDCL issues and officers in event of power cuts, Factory inspectors and other government officers.
- Track and ensure facility bills are paid before time, MSEDCL, Water etc.
- Lead and Coordinate with various internal stake holders for smooth functioning of operations
Your Profile
- Bachelor s Degree or equivalent in Electrical / Electronic Engineering from Premier Institute with good academics.
- 8-12 years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Green Filed/Brown Field Project execution experience, working with multiple contractors, coordinating, and managing the execution at the site.
- Maintain Factory facility and Equipment for smooth functioning of operations.
- Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and technical expertise.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve results.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and communication skills
- Experience working in a global company and within matrix structures would be a plus.
- A high degree of integrity and honesty in all dealings.
- Knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, inventory management).
- Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills as well as the ability to coach and develop others.
- Ability to create accountability and to lead by example.
