Position Name: Manager Maintenance Level: L5-B
Reports to: Manufacturing Unit Head
This role is responsible for timely maintenance and upkeep of production equipment (mechanical and electrical) and utilities with the objective of ensuring on-time and quality production with zero accidents and a safe and healthy work environment.

B.Tech/BE Mechanical
PGDM /PDG in Boilers & Process
Experience
- 5 to 10 Years in the manufacturing sector with functional knowledge of maintenance of equipment and utilities in process industries
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of Machine and Equipment used in process industries.
- Knowledge on Boilers
- Ability to identify & quickly resolve equipment issue and risk mitigation process.
- Best Suited for someone who
- Has experience in operational implementation.
- Has got exposure of at least 3 years in manufacturing excellence.
- Has familiarity with Lean concepts, Kaizens, TPM, Integrated management Systems, OSHAS,5S, 6 Sigma etc.
- Is well versed with different analytical tools like Pareto, Poke Yoke, Value Engineering.
- Has exposure in Managing Unionized workforce.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
PERFORMANCE MEASURES ( QUANTITATIVE /QUALITATIVE)
1. Plant Maintenance for Productivity Improvement
- Plan, Implement & Monitor the daily maintenance plan to enhance the enhance the serviceability of Mechanical /Electrical System
- Plan vs Actual
- Plan, Schedule, Implement and monitor the preventive/ Predictive maintenance to minimize breakdown -Optimizing SDT to Minimize EDT
- Improvement in Production Lead Time
- Handle real time breakdown/ emergency effectively
- VED analysis of spares & maintain inventory of Vital, essential & desirable spares as per analysis.
- Maintaining asset history data & improving asset life applying analysis tools.
- Fine tuning bottling lines to ensure error free fill level & desired labeling accuracy at rated capacity
2. Operations & maintenance of Utilities
- Ensure efficient Operation and maintenance of DGs , Air Compressors, HVAC, STP, ETP, Industrial water Supply, Incinerators , Cold rooms etc. to ensure full scale availability of utiltiy equipment's
- Plan vs Actual
- Drive energy saving and improvement project initiation, planning & executor.

- Ensure statutory compliance adherence & monitoring.
3. Documents & Reporting
- Documents & Report maintenance activities
- Accuracy
- Maintain a list of all spares available
- Adherence to timelines
- Design maintenance strategies, procedures & methods in form of the maintenance manual.
- Conduct Utility consumption analysis and reporting
- liaise with Govt Regulatory Authorities for License renewals, NOC's Etc.
4. People Management
- Lead a team of Executives / Supervisors/ technicians to achive different predefined KPI's

- Identify skill gaps among the team and provide required training to build capabilities

- Inspect the daily maintenance activities and take corrective actions as required

- Supervise the installation & commissioning of equipment

- Work closley with quality, EHS, Productions, Process Managers to ensure timely support or undertake preventive actions
