Job Summary
- Under the guidance of Head, drive the Annual Production Budget based on Marketing Plan, IDT & External customer need. Ensure achievement of targeted production without generating nonmoving inventory. Ensure on time delivery. • Ensure all secondary operation (e.g. welding, cleating) after production. • Ensure Zero variance in physical stock verification & ensure zero error in daily production confirmation in SAP system. • Develop functional and behavioral skills of sub-ordinates. Recommend training needs and growth plans for eligible subordinates. • Planning and organizing production schedules. • Raw material planning. • Monitoring of OEE & action plan to improve the overall OEE. • SAP Knowledge is must (PP module/S4 HANA) • Material master and BOM knowledge must • Coordination with all departments • Monthly stock take activity • Monthly MIS reports • Daily monitoring analysis output of bottleneck operations • Ensure quality norms as per customer requirement • Shift response for all production functions • Prepare daily loading plan considering WIP components & monthly loading plan Achieving productivity improvement and eliminating non-value added operations by focusing on SMED, POKA-YOKE & Kaizen, 5S, Lean, etc. • Ensure optimum inventory level and traceability of material through FIFO systems • Skill matrix of all press & die members, training needs, as per training plan • Lead project activities for carrying out New model start up in press dept • Handle independently LEAN Drive • Ensure end to end tracking of material • Monthly rejection analysis and action plan to reduce rejection level • Manpower Handling - Permanent Unionized and non-permanent workforce. Responsible for pro- active shop floor discipline management to strengthen amicable ER • Responsible for OEE, Plant / Manpower utilization / OTD / OTIF / COPQ / In-process rejections • Co-ordination with Out-sourcing/Store team • Material balancing and accounting for I/H production
