Deputy Manager - Design And Quality Assurance

• Understand the user business requirements and existing Quality Assurance plan
  
• Understand prevailing practice of quality monitoring and control 
  
• Ensure adherence to defined quality standards through review, inspection and reporting mechanism
  
• Continuously explore avenues to improve quality through evaluation / selection of alternate materials / workmanship and / or both
  
• Assist the site team/s in implementation of any new initiative aimed at improvement in quality
  
• Identification of root cause for any quality-related issue and strengthening of the processes for continuous improvement
  
• Conductprimary and secondary research to gather market data and best practices relatedto construction quality and associated cost.
  
• Develop,periodically update Quality Assurance plan for project works.
  
• Assist inimplementation of best-in-class Quality standards across projects and Monitorproject quality
  
• ​Ensure adherence to defined quality parameters by the project teams and explore new areas to improve quality.
  

Requirements

• B.E / B. Tech in CivilEngineering from an institute/University recognizedby UGC/AICTE
  
• M.E / M. tech in Structural etcfrom an institute/University recognizedby UGC/AICTE
  
• The incumbent must be capable of independently coordinating all aspects of Civil & Structural design, with design consultants and reviewing and coordinating all aspects of Quality Assurance with vendors, consultants, and project teams.
  
• Must be familiar with Engineering Codes, Value Engineering, Energy Efficiency, Sustainability, Life-cycle Costing and Safety issues in design.
  
• Should have the knowledge to review the technical specification and bill of quantities, issued by the design consultants, to ensure the same reflects the design brie. quality standards of the project execution.
  
• Should have minimum 12 - 15 years of experience in Civil / Structural Modeling, Analysis, Design and Quality Control/ Assurance of Buildings (Housing, Office, Hotel, Hospital) and Factories (Food, Automobile)
  
• Should have thorough knowledge in RCC design and Familiar with Structural Steel Design;
  
• Familiarwith Indian Standards (IS Codes) in the above areas
  
• Musthave experience in IS code compliance on Quality related submittals (like mixdesign, method statements, inspection and test plan etc.) for constructionprojects
  
• Women Candidates are preferred for the role.
