Deputy Delivery Manager - Accounts Payable

You will be working as Deputy Delivery ManagerAccounts Payable and will be part of Finance Services business for Finance and Accounting Operations division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Accounts Payable hub Delivery Manager. You will be primarily responsible to support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing and interpreting financial data. Drives the definition and implementation of standards and business guidelines to ensure continuous improvement in the financial control process.

Your responsibilities

• Leading global service delivery for assigned countries by accomplishing the targets (productivity, cost, customer satisfaction, SLAs) and ensure seamless transition without business disruption
• Provide leadership to delivery team on accounting of transactions for Accounts Payable (AP) in an accurate and timely manner while ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and procedures and external regulatory requirements
• Creating a culture of delivery orientation, change management and professionalism in accounting both globally and locally in the GBS Finance centers
• Driving operational metrics performance management and responsible for people strategy (hiring, retention, training & development, performance management)
• Ensuring timely month-end closing, accurate & timely monthly/ quarterly and annual reporting and transparency in financial reporting and disclosures
• Leading internal control over financial reporting compliance and reporting for the general accounting team and act as an escalation point for internal customers, where involvement of executive level is needed
• Focusing on customer value addition and satisfaction to ensure GBS teams are equipped to provide the service levels agreed and enhancing internal control environment and fraud awareness. Driving projects globally with strong focus on simplification and efficiency gains

Your background

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
• 10+ years of extensive experience with strong exposure in managing large global teams in both captive/ BPO 3rd party set up.
• Should have strong Communication skills and high attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask is important.
• Knowledge of SAP FICO & MM Module and AP workflow tool is must
• Strong Project Management skills and experience in transition management will be added advantage
• Must have handled a team of 30-40 employees and open for working in shifts
