AddressThirty Two Health Care is currently seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist in providing quality oral health care to our patients. You will have the opportunity to work in a modern and well-equipped dental office, providing support to the dental team and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. Responsibilities
- Assisting the dentist during dental procedures, including but not limited to fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Sterilizing and preparing dental instruments and equipment
- Taking and developing dental radiographs
- Assisting with dental lab work, including pouring and trimming models and fabricating temporary crowns
- Educating patients on proper oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Maintaining inventory and reordering dental supplies as needed
- Ensuring compliance with infection control protocols and maintaining a clean and organized dental operatory
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting program
- X-ray certification
- CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Professional and friendly demeanor, with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced dental office
