AddressData Analytics Expert (Insurance) - Global Consulting Firm - Contractual Role - Remote
At Outsized, we match clients in financial services and management consulting to high-quality independent consultants and boutique/specialist firms for the execution of their key projects.
We are currently working with the US Actuarial Transformation practice of a leading global strategy Consulting Firm helping them access high-quality Data Analytics talent to support the execution of large scale actuarial programmes for their key US Health Insurance clients.
Each year, from February - June the firm has significant bandwidth challenges as well as capability gaps that constrain them from meeting client demand and executing critical engagements. To address this they are now keen to partner with both independent consultants and boutique firms who would be keen on working with them in partnership.
Their projects are focused on supporting clients in the health and medical sector with pricing connected to changing regulations. The focus is to analyse and understand current pricing models and data models, assess regulatory changes and then apply those changes to support future modelling and pricing.
Key skills they are seeking:
Data:
- Data ingesting
- Data cleaning
- Data processing and analysis
- Data modelling
- Ideally some experience working with health/life insurance data (nice to have)
- Expertise in SAS, SQL and Excel (must have)
- Experience working with and interpreting large amounts of complex data
This will be a fully remote engagement, likely full time for 3-4 months and an opportunity to build a long term strategic partnership with our client who is keen to establish a multi-year relationship.
