Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding the Target Audience: Conducting research to understand the target audience, their preferences, and behaviours. Tailoring the language and tone of the copy to resonate with the intended readership.
- Collaborating with Marketing Teams: Working closely with marketing and creative teams to align the written content with overall marketing strategies and goals. Ensuring consistency in messaging across various channels.
- Writing Engaging Copy: Crafting clear, compelling, and persuasive copy for a variety of mediums, including advertisements, websites, social media, email campaigns, and more. Adapting writing styles to suit different platforms and purposes.
- SEO Optimization: Incorporating search engine optimization (SEO) techniques to improve the visibility of the content online. Including relevant keywords and phrases to enhance search engine rankings.
- Editing and Proofreading: Reviewing and refining copy for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors. Ensuring that the content is error-free and aligns with the brand's voice and style guidelines.
- Staying Updated on Industry Trends: Keeping abreast of industry trends, market changes, and competitors' activities to create relevant and timely content that resonates with the target audience.
- Meeting Deadlines: Managing time effectively to meet project deadlines. Coordinating with other team members to ensure timely completion of marketing campaigns and projects.
- Testing and Optimization: Analyzing the performance of written content and making data-driven decisions for improvement. Conducting A/B testing on different copies to determine the most effective messaging.
- Client or Stakeholder Communication: Collaborating with clients, stakeholders, or internal teams to gather information and insights necessary for creating targeted and impactful copy.
- Creativity and Innovation: Generating fresh and innovative ideas for advertising campaigns. Thinking creatively to develop unique and memorable content that sets the brand apart.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelors/ Master’s degree in Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in copy writing, preferably in the digital marketing sector.
