Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Copywriter at The Brand Daddy. The Copywriter will be responsible for creating persuasive, easy-to-read, and engaging pieces of copy to entice our target audience. The Copywriter will also be responsible for proofreading, creating content for press releases, and communication with other professionals in the marketing team.

Responsibilities:

Content Creation:

• Produce high-quality and engaging copy for various marketing materials, including website content, product descriptions, email campaigns, blog posts, social media, and advertising materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver messages that resonate with the target audience.

Brand Voice and Consistency:

• Maintain and reinforce the brand voice and tone across all communication channels.
• Ensure consistency in messaging and branding throughout different marketing campaigns and materials.

Research and Understanding:

• Conduct thorough research on industry trends, target audience behaviors, and competitors to inform and enhance content creation.
• Stay updated on relevant topics and market trends to incorporate fresh and relevant perspectives into the copy.

Editing and Proofreading:

• Review and edit copy to ensure it meets brand standards, is free of errors, and adheres to grammar and style guidelines.
• Collaborate with the editing team to refine and improve content as needed.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the marketing team, and designers, to brainstorm ideas, contribute to creative concepts, and ensure alignment with overall marketing strategies.
• Take feedback constructively and iterate on copy to meet project objectives.

Deadline Management:

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and delivering high-quality, error-free content on time.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Marketing expertise and proofreading skills
• A creative mindset that can create engaging content to entice audiences
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow brand guidelines
• Ability to work well in a team and meet strict deadlines
• Master's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or related fields
• Experience in a related field, such as a marketing agency, is a plus
• Experience in digital marketing and SEO is a plus
