What You’ll Do
- Lead & drive technology design, implementation, execution, and/or optimization for projects/accounts to accelerate customer outcomes.
- Provide/assist customers with integration and implementation of tools, systems, and service assurance for Cisco technologies.
- Support presale activities and translate business requirements into solution design.
- Build customer simulations in test labs to resolve/validate issues.
- Build and deliver customer collateral, portals, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
- Drive customer technology transitions, influencing solution architectures and services.
- Align with and support company policies and processes and utilize relevant tools to efficiently execute the role and support Professional Services’ strategies and goals.
- Play the role of an individual contributor.

Role and specific responsibilities
- Associate with customers along with appropriate internal and external resources (e.g. Cisco account teams, partners) on the strategy/deployment/optimization of Cisco services and solutions.
- Takes ownership of task/project implementation for assigned engagements.
- Implement new techniques and methodologies utilized in customer delivery and share lessons learned with the broader team.
- Builds and reviews project work e.g. Design recommendations, High-Level Design, Low-Level Design, Implementation/ Change Management Plans.
- Builds and/or use test environments as the need arises to resolve sophisticated problems & compatibility issues.
- Demonstrates software skills and tools to configure, deploy and/or tackle Cisco products and solutions.
- Gives in the development of digital intellectual capital (e.g. scripts, digital signatures).
- Acts as a focal point for problem resolution for assigned customer engagements. Assures accurate and quick resolution of major customer problems across an appropriate range of technologies.

Who You Are
Expertise
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Cisco Enterprise portfolio of product offerings.
- Expertise in Routing and Switching along with working knowledge of Wireless and Security
- 8 to 12 years of experience in technical consulting, design, deployment and troubleshooting
- Design solutions for highly complex requirements on all the EN technology areas
- Lead end to end technical delivery on Routing & Switching, SDA, and/or SDWAN solutions.
- Awareness about cloud integrations
- Understanding of APIs and scripting skills (Python, Ansible)
- Capability to solve network issues and work through challenging situations and handling issues.
- Lead team of junior engineers on specific projects
- Entrepreneurial thought leadership – Drive creation of tools/ICs
- Assist presales discussions and drive proof of concepts
- Help hire the right technical talent in to the team
- Chip in to tech zone articles and present in internal/external technical forums
- Experience/Knowledge/Awareness on multi-vendor environment of R&S, Security, Wireless and DC technologies.
Leadership / Autonomy
- Receives limited supervision. Resolves methods and procedures on new assignments. Provides guidance and mentoring to other engineers. Translates worldwide team goals into own work assignments.
- Mentor and develop others. Involved in strategic projects with high transparency. The emphasis is on complexity, active participant/initiator, and leader.
