Title: Consultant, IT-ERP (Architecture and Engineering)
Location: Bangalore
Your Role
The Consultant (Architecture and Engineering) is responsible for the configuration, management maintenance, automation, high-availability, load balancing and DR of the enterprise resource planning (JDE Edwards) system solutions. This includes designing interfaces with disparate systems, creating innovative system solutions, leveraging technology to simplify/automate tasks while continuing to drive overall value to the business. Requires the ability to work effectively on independent projects, as well as in cooperation with a variety of stakeholders and other technical professionals across the regions.
What you’ll be doing
- Management of multiple ERP instances across the world.
- Design and implement strategic system solutions:
- Technical architecture designs
- High-availability systems solutions
- Performance Tuning standards
- Disaster Recovery
- DevOps
- Ability to efficiently manage tasks/projects with limited requirement information
- Leverage technology to reduce operational costs (load on staff and systems)
- Integrate Automation to meet advanced system requirements
- Develop/Implement system standards to:
- Lower support costs
- Simplify system support efforts
- Keep systems up to date with shifting requirements (security, patches etc..)
- Document, automate and train teams on new solutions
- Learn and implement new technology quickly
- Work with 3rd party application to interface with JD Edwards
- Investigate post-implementation problems and initiate solutions
- Comply with security and governance policies and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, business analysts, Developers and other stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of ERP software development
What you’ll bring
- Engineering Graduate / Masters in Computer Science/ MCA
- Cloud Experience:
- AWS Cloud Certification (Preferred not required)
- E1 Technical Background (experience with):
- JDE Upgrade/Install, Tools Release, BSSV, RTE, Weblogic, JAS, JDE Orchestration, UDO’s, UBE, BI Publisher, BSFNs (C, NER), ESUs, TCs, DCLINK, Create!form
- 7-9 plus years of experience with Enterprise One Installation, Upgrades, system design
- Experience working on 9.0 or higher releases;
- Background in Linux and Windows operating systems
- Positive attitude
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple concurrent projects and prioritize internal requests
- Good team player, able to meet deadlines and handle changing priorities
- Must have strong English language skills and be comfortable conversing in English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
