ROLE: Chief Financial Officer
LOCATION: Mumbai
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 12-15 years
Qualification: Chartered Accountant with relevant experience in NBFC sector
Candidate Skillset required :
- To lead the firm-wide finance organization which includes support new business development, ideation, leads generation and raising funds by means of various instruments such as Term loans, Securitization, assignment, working capital (fund based and non-fund based), NCDs, and CPs.
- Represent the Company to banks, financial partners, institutions, investors, public auditors and officials
- Fund planning, fund management as per the company requirement. Fund planning and resource identification (Banks/investors)
- Involve in various sub committees of the Board that report to the board of directors for day to day management which includes borrowing committee and ALCO committee
- Communicate and interact with Board of Directors, CEO and Regulator
- Implement policies, procedures and processes as deemed appropriate
- Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual MIS and financial statements
- Handle legal and compliance including various compliances with RBI and other corporate laws
- Oversee the preparation and timely filing of all direct and indirect tax returns
- Work with Human Resources to ensure appropriate legal compliance
- Ensure all the compliances applicable from RBI perspective
- Control all the aspects of accounting and reporting related matters of the Company
Skills & Attributes :
- Understanding of financial concepts, Analytical ability and Business acumen
- Relevant corporate finance background of a minimum of 5-8 years
- Sound financial knowledge including but not limited to financial statement analysis, valuations etc.
- He/she must be able to carry out the responsibilities solely and independently.
- Motivated and self- driven, with an ability to effectively communicate thoughts and ideas
- Adept at working under pressure and tight deadlines
