We are seeking a motivated, creative and innovative full-time Chartered Accountant (Global Accounting) to join our fast-paced team. The successful candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant having prior global accounting or tax experience. The candidate should be comfortable working directly with other teams but also be an independent self-starter capable of meeting high output expectations.
Roles and Responsibilities
- IMPORT/Export Taxation: - Having knowledge of Export / import taxation, Sales accounting, follow up with customers for Advances & Receivables, Follow up with the concern authorities for payment, etc.
- Knowledge of Sales Tax/ Income Tax/ Import
- Knowledge of Foreign exchange.
- Management Reports - Reporting of financial results on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliation for the accounts detailing the general ledger balances, research discrepancies, and prepare adjusting transactions necessary to make corrections to appropriate accounting records.
- Perform Intercompany accounting and reconciliations
- Responsible for Treasury management
- Prepare and input other adjusting, monthly, recurring journal entries
- Perform all month-end closing activities and reporting the trial balance for consolidation.
- Assist auditors with journal entry examinations, intercompany reconciliations, financial audits
- Maintenance of various accounting areas such as Fixed Assets, Prepayment schedules and other accounting schedules
- Provide research and problem-solving support for other accounting teams and business.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Should be a Chartered Accountants with 5 to 8 years' experience
- Readiness to support international team as per different time zones
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of ERP Package, preferably NetSuite.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and coordination skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to handle a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility and ability to multi-task are a must
