Role Responsibilities

  • Practice sustainable incident response and blameless post-mortems.
  • Should be able to perform support activities and handling the stakeholders end to end.
  • Should be responsible for all Production bugs and its delivery.
  • Incident Management and Change Management are the key tasks.
  • Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services—from inception and design, through deployment, operation, and refinement.
  • Support services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning and launch reviews.
  • Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
  • Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.
  • Should be willing to work in night shifts as well.

Must have:

  • Overall IT experience of 5-7 years with an added knowledge on Banking Domain.
  • Systematic Problem solving approach, coupled with a strong sense of ownership and drive
  • Approachability
  • Knowledge on Java and familiar code review.
  • Knowledge of Oracle SQL queries, Kong, Python, Splunk
  • Knowledge on Web Server, Tomcat
  • Understanding of Unix/Linux systems from kernel to shell and beyond, taking in system libraries, file systems, and client-server protocols along the way
  • Experience with algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis and software design
  • Experience working in a Microsoft environment
  • Expertise in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
  • Experience using Agile methodologies
  • Should be able to transform into System Reliability Transformation journey.

QUALIFICATIONS*

TRAINING, LICENSES, MEMBERSHIPS AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Software Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Preferably 5 to 7 years of working experience in software development
  • Strong Programming Background in any Language.
  • Should have worked in Production environment and support with minimum 5 years
