Address What you'll do:
The Business Analyst covers the analysis phase of a change initiative project that is targeted to design a target operating model on business processes, its required governance and management design to ensure improvements are realized in a robust and controlled environment. This includes analytical aspects outside the impacted area or team to ensure target design are aligned front to back.
- Work closely with Functional and Business product owners for requirement gathering, documentation - understand SCM language.
- Have consulting mindset - educate product owners of better solutions leveraging technology features not known to business.
- Be a champion for realizing One Eaton Digital SCM Ecosystem.
- Act as Scrum Master
- Requirement detailing and prioritization based on Enterprise / Business value.
- Present the requirements in sufficient details in product owner roundtable meetings.
- Ensure Digital Strategy and Enterprise architecture is not compromised while delivering new solutions.
- Responsible for user story definition, and validating definition of done in place.
- Act as Internal customer to technical team - review deliverables for completeness and move them to "done" in Jira boards.
- Act as single point of contact for a business and function
- Act as business development manager to upsell / cross sell Digital Capabilities
- Act as transition manager for new positions getting added to the team
- Conduct monthly business reviews with business
- Handle customer escalations by conducting root cause analysis and put together long term and short team fix.
- Documents the requirements in detail and seeks signoff
- Proficient in agile - scrum methodology and has experience using Jira and Teams boards
- Works closely with Tech lead for creating product architecture
- Looks for any report reuse, reduce, recycle opportunities before developing anything new.
- Drives business towards Eaton Enterprise Architecture
- Define complex process and identify problem areas in order to work on a solution in partnership with architects, developers, and business users
- Design and conceptualize business solution options and articulate underlying impact analysis
- Effective communication upwards with experience on the production of management decks
- Actively supports the business strategy, plans and values, contributing to the achievement of a high-performance culture
- Support the tech lead and project manager as a PMO/BA to ensure that projects are on track based on business requirements
Qualifications:
- Overall 5 to 10+ years of experience with minimum of 5 years Supply Chain Management related experience and knowledge on analysis methods, tools and techniques
- BABOK certification / training
Skills:
- Understanding of Microsoft Azure services, PowerApps, Power Platforms, PowerBI is required.
- Strong UI/UX conceptual understanding is required for solution design.
- Change Management trained /certified
- Agile Project Manager / Agile Scrum Master certified.
- Understanding of IT architecture concepts e.g. TOGAF
- Understanding of CICD DevSecOps and ITSM
- Experience in working with Manufacturing organizations
- Knowledge of SAP or any other ERP SCM module at transaction level.
- Working experience on SCM Middle and Back Office activities would be preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with other team members and stakeholders
- Analytical and problem-solving experience and ability to grasp new concepts, provide insights and solutions
- High attention to detail and ability to stay organized despite multiple demands
- Ability to commit and prioritize work duties and tasks. Project management and PMO experience would be preferred
- Excellent proven communication and documentation/presentation skills
- Ability to identify and escalate problems at an early stage
- Ability to work in virtual teams and matrix/global organizations
- Fluent in English (written/verbal)
