Role description:

Associate Principal Engineer (Structures -USA Mobility) – Analysis and Design of highway structures for Design & Build projects, Tender projects and State DoT projects. Will have to carry out design and production Structures design, CAD production and 3D modelling and quantities. Exp on D & B projects –concept design, Alternative Technical Concepts and detailed design of projects. Should have worked/handled Design –Build projects, Tender designs for any of international projects. Specific US experience is most desirable.

Role accountabilities:

• Responsible of analysis and design of Road Bridges;
• Preparation / Review of various structure related drawings at various stages of projects;
• Computation of quantities;
• Preparation of Reinforcement Schedules;
• Preparation of design reports; and,
• Ability to understand existing condition reports and surveys;
• Coaching and mentoring team members.
• Ability to lead and design D & B projects
• Should have handled D & B projects-overseas preferably for ANA in Infrastructure Business.
• Should have worked for US Projects and must be conversant with AASHTO and various DOT specifications and standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• B.E / BTech in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in Design Consulting Environment as of December 31, 2023.
• Minimum of 5 years of working experience for International projects for Highway Structures and Road Bridges (Mandatory) and minimum of 3 years of working experience for USA projects (Mandatory) in Designing Highway Structures and Road Bridges. 
• Having work experience on Design & Build Projects is added advantage.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

• Good understanding and Knowledge on international codes like AASHTO LRFD, DMRB, British and Euro codes along with various other International Codal Practices and Standards, Design Standards for more than one DOT in USA.
• Project Experience using various DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
• Bridge Design for various stages of Design Build Projects – Detailed design of Bridges, Detailed Structural drawings, construction support-drawings, Design Reviews, Hydrology studies.
• Experience in MS Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
• Full understand of US units of measure;
• Read, write and speaks -English.
