Position Summary

• The QA Lead shall act as an interface between HO & project site.
• The Incumbent will drive; implement organizational QA Policy & procedure across the project site.
• This roles shall also include the continues monitoring, implementing best HSE practices & reporting to the management.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation of Sterlite Power Transmission Limited Quality Plans & Policy
• Support section manager, site engineer & supervisor to communicate method statements & standard procedure down to the worker’s level.
• Monitor implementation of Quality Plans and raise non-conformance if any deviation found
• Facilitate Quality internal & external audit and assist HSE head in compliance of the non-conformity raises.
• Exercise authority to suspend work, in case of deviations in Field Quality plans and drawing requirement, until corrective actions are taken
• Assist Project Head to conduct periodical HSE coordination meetings with Sterlite POWER / Contractors / Partners / other governing body and raise important issues to Unit management.

Position Demands

Travelling to various sites as and when required.

Critical Success Factors - Essential

• Graduate Engineer in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil
• 6-10 Year of Experience, 5 years in Construction Industry specific is mandatory

Critical Success Factors - Desirable

Core Power Transmission experience required.
