The Global Card Issuance team is responsible for manufacturing, personalizing, fulfilling and distributing American Express cards around the world for our customers. Purpose of the Role:
GCI Governance Analyst would be responsible for performing testing and driving controls across GCI processes. The candidate will support the team to execute monitoring across all GCI Global functional areas for regulatory and procedure adherence utilizing MIS reporting, analytics and enhanced capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Drive Governance projects/initiatives within the teams with objectives towards risk based approach.
Establishing and maintaining a record of operational procedures manuals, and analyzing monthly reports.
Maintaining and updating the governance framework, supervising compliance
Lead calibration sessions with your Business Partners, Market Compliance, BCP, Operations excellence and other key collaborators
Identify and implement systems, infrastructure, and reporting needs for supervising the respective group.
Supporting the Manager in day to day internal governance related activities
Maintain knowledge of market regulations and related tests (PRSA, RBST, IAG, BCP, Local audit requirements)
Provide input and insight to key drivers of errors as part of GCI efficiency improvement projects
Act as a point of contact for ICT, PRSA, OE, IAG or any other audits
Ensure that internal policies, procedures and compliance regulations are being followed
Work with the Program Management, Remediation team, Business Partners and Line of Business Compliance, to define testing and monitoring requirements to meet regulatory requirements
Interact with Compliance and Process Owners to establish and follow through on remediation and Corrective Action Plan.
Track and Report TLM and TSM assessment status
Support day to day Spl handling activities – Emergency Card Replacement, Card Redirects, Reject CLIC baskets and any new work-types
Support testing requirements for any new issuance tool, projects related to card replacements
Hand hold SHT colleagues for any new project submission, CHC corrections, SOP updates
Preferred knowledge of CLIC, GSP, Card Replacement Journey

- Experience in roles related to relationship and/or contract management with external partners and internal business partners would be preferred
