Job description

Job Area: Information Communication Technology for Development, Digital Divide, Digital Inclusion, Digital and internet rights, Internet access and connectivity, Digital Empowerment, Wireless and Communication program management and others.

Job Location: Delhi

Tenure: Contractual (12 months)

Nature of Work: Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the planning and management of wireless for Community program. Oversees and develops short and long-term strategic goals pertaining to the planning, development, design, operational processes, research and communication.

Develops plans for the effective use of incident communications equipment and facilities, manages the distribution of communications equipment to incident personnel, and coordinates the installation and testing of communications equipment in accordance with the guidelines. Supporting Monitoring and Evaluation, baseline, midline and end line assessments and others.

Remuneration: Between INR 35000- 50000

Educational Qualification: Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Business Administration or a closely related field and 3 – 5 years of progressively responsible related experience with 1 – 2 years of lead or supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Knowledge:

  • Wireless Communications Technology – Thorough knowledge of proper procedures, techniques, tools and equipment used to install, maintain and repair Wireless Communications systems and sub-systems. Knowledge of electronic and wireless theory including Indian government policy & compliance knowledge like wireless policy, PM-Wani policy etc.
  • Information Technology – Knowledge of networking technologies, Windows O/S Knowledge of Microsoft Office 360 Suite,
  • Supervision – Knowledge of leadership techniques, principles and procedures to assign work, schedule, supervise, train, and evaluate the work of assigned
  • Strategic Planning – Knowledge of strategic planning principles and theories to ensure a competitive

  • Critical Thinking – Utilizes logic and reasoning to understand, analyze and evaluate complex situations and research information to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or
  • Interpersonal Relationships – Develops and maintains cooperative and professional relationships with employees and all levels of management to include representatives from other departments and organizations.

  • Communication – Ability to communicate ideas effectively, including the preparation of detailed reports and logs. Ability to listen and understand information and ideas being presented verbally and in writing. Ability to handle a variety of customer service issues with tact and diplomacy and in a confidential
  • Coordination of Work – Ability to establish and implement effective administrative programs and Ability to plan and organize daily work routine. Establishes priorities for the completion of work in accordance with sound time-management methodology. Performs a broad range of supervisory responsibilities over others.
  • Financial Management – Ability to perform arithmetic, algebraic, and statistical applications. Ability to employ economic and accounting principles and practices in the analysis and reporting of budgeting.
