Role Overview:
We are seeking a Vice President to join the Talent Management and DEI team in Asia Pacific. The role will be based in Gurgaon and will report into the APAC Head of Talent Management and DEI. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and executing the India Talent and DEI strategy and will also lead career related activities including talent practices for targeted groups and strategic talent initiatives.
As a Talent Management & DEI Professional, you will play a critical role in partnering with the leadership and the business to drive talent and DEI strategies, provide thought leadership to HR colleagues, and actively challenge and stretch the organization and its leaders.
This is a strategic and influential position that requires exceptional business partnering skills, project management expertise, flawless execution, and the ability to act as an internal consultant. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is a must. A strong grasp of talent analytics is essential to support our data-driven approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as an advisor and partner to the leadership team and business stakeholders, providing insights and guidance on Talent Management strategies & DEI priorities aligned with country and firm goals and objectives
Utilize strong business partnering and talent partnering experience to build effective relationships with key stakeholders, both locally and globally, to understand their needs and align talent solutions accordingly.
Develop and execute scalable multi-year career strategies for targeted business areas including managers and stay up-to-date with current and emerging trends
Become the ‘go-to’ person for leadership development, career pathing and talent analytics – providing best practice, expertise and guidance on how to support business talent priorities
Drive initiatives to foster a diverse and inclusive workforce, promoting equal opportunities and creating an inclusive culture.
Partner with the Head of TM & DEI on global Talent and DEI initiatives
Key Qualifications:
Strong understanding of Talent Management and business partnering
Passion for working within and outside of frameworks to drive great talent and DEI initiatives
Ability to analyze data and draw meaningful insights
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful talent programs across India
Strong understanding of user experience and ability to adapt and simplify talent practices to suit
10-15 years professional experience including substantial time in Human Resources
