AddressData Transformation Lead for leading bank in Mumbai
Candidate should be from a BANK or management consulting ONLY
Work closely with the Head - Client Insights to driving multiple enterprise Data Transformation projects to a a successful closure bringing significant impact interms of regulatory and analytical outcomes . Work closely with Head - Client Insights to ensure cost save/ revenue lifts are clearly demonstrated for all key projects
Position Responsibilities:
1. Design , monitor and track key transformation project in the enterprise data - analytics team related to KYC, regulatory reporting, CIC, DNCR, DPDP, Customer analytics and others
2. Understand the data landscape, vulnerabilities and recommend controls to be put in place to bring about proactive monitoring in data to identify data related issues/ anomalies . For this extensively leverage resources like internal and external audit reports, other resources like regulatory and internal stakeholder feedback etc . Recommend the use of consultants for specific areas where needed etc.
3. Play a key role in solutioning for any audit/ RAR/ RMP / internal related points are closed in a timely manner , ensuring the solutioning is implemented in a timely manner and appropriated controls are put in place for ongoing monitoring
4. Understand and intrepret the data / data security guidelines applicable to the bank , strategize / design the changes needed and oversee their implementation end to end via the inhouse team / appropriate external resources etc.
5. Play a key role in creating a strong documentation around key customer data areas and regulatory reporting areas
6. Identify areas of transformation within the bank(in collaboration with CEOs office / through other key stakeholder meetings/ senior management direction etc) where data , AI / ML can help in increasing automation , reducing cost/ increasing revenue
7. Play a key role in establishing data dictionary / glossary for key areas as needed. Work closely with other leaders in Client Insights team to achieve these outcomes
8. Play a key role in establishing a strong Data design framework to maximize value creation from data basis best practices.
Education :
- BTech / Mtech / MS / MSc . Some working knowledge of programming languages like SQL/ Python will be useful
- MBA from a top tier institute with consulting background would be preferred
- Experience Experience of 10-15 years with atleast 5 years in banking
- Extensive knowledge of banking processes/ specifically processes that involve intensive data generation / curation
- Proven ability understand complex regulatory guidelines , understand impact and execute on ground
- Strong understanding of key banking guidelines around KYC , CIC reporting, DNCR
- Strong orientation towards process reengineering / redesign and the ability to make a business case
- Ability to work with senior internal stakeholders / external consultants as needed to run complex cross functional projects
- Proven experience of working high impact Data Transformation projects
