Business Analyst ( Life Asia / Life 400)
Purpose of the Role - Performs analysis, requirement gathering & documentation, Test planning & Execution, Internal/External co-ordination among the team, users & Vendors. Will work across both Product Launches Support and Change Request / Projects.
Role Attributes:
- Oversight of Core Application deliverables for Product launches, Post launch features, customer acquisition, Servicing and Middleware Integration
- This role will be one of the SME for Core application related Initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shaping and defining the true business problem statement, opportunity, and associated requirement, covering People, Process and Technology Proposing and Delivering solutions that resolve the business problem and setting out impacts and risks
- Independently leading and delivering the business analysis activities on projects and programs
- Integrity and alignment of the proposed and chosen solutions with business needs
- Test planning, execution, and coordination
- Ensuring risk and compliance standards are followed for every changes
- Driving continuous improvement through process improvement
- Training to Operational users
- Development and professionalism of themselves and the Business Analyst community
- Guiding and leading junior team members in project delivery
Requirements:
Experience:
- More than 8 years of working experience in Life/Health Insurance Domain.
- Good interpersonal communication and written skills.
- Deep understanding about various insurance domain related applications like Life Policy admins (Life400/LifeAsia) features and functionalities, Workflow, Salesforce, Imaging and CCM.
- Strong understanding of Agile / Iterative delivery methodology.
Education:
- Degree or Diploma holder
- Professional Certification(s): PMP, Agile certification (Preferred)
- Certification of Insurance & Business Analysis (LOMA, CII, IIBA, etc.)
