 Job Description:

Overall Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of projects using emerging technologies
• Mentor and guide team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects
• Identify and evaluate new technology solutions to improve business processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the organization's overall strategy
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and industry trends

Skills:

• Strong expertise in emerging technologies such as blockchain, IoT, AI, etc.
• Strong technical knowledge of software development lifecycle
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Good understanding of software architecture and design patterns
• Ability to lead and manage a team of technical experts

Experience:

• At least 8+ years of experience in software development and leading technology projects
• Proven track record of delivering projects using emerging technologies
• Experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Manage the development and delivery of projects using emerging technologies
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the organization's overall strategy
• Evaluate and recommend new technology solutions to improve business processes
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and industry trends

Qualification:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Relevant certifications in emerging technologies

• Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS OF JOB HOLDER (C++)
1- Strong proficiency in C++, with fair knowledge of the language specification
2-Hands on C/C++ development experience is essential, as is exposure to the full software development life cycle
3-Should have hands on experience and thorough knowledge in STL, BOOST understanding of data structures and algorithms
4-Must have expertise in programming under Windows/UNIX/Linux
5-Working knowledge of development tools such as debuggers, profilers and tracing utilities
6-Experience with IPC including socket programming
7-Hands on multithreading experience, including race conditions, deadlocks, debugging, etc.
8-Excellent problem solving and multitasking skills, with a logical and pragmatic attitude
9-Real-time Data Processing, performance Tuning/Optimization (a plus)
10-Working experience in MYSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL would be plus
11-Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as SVN, Git.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS OF JOB HOLDER(JAVA)
1-Strong proficiency in Core Java, with fair knowledge of the language specification
2-Hands on in JSF/Spring/Struts or any MVC Framework.
3-Experience in JavaScript Framework like Angular, Vue, Ext JS, React JS.
4-Strong knowledge of HTML5, Bootstrap, CSS 3, JavaScript and JQuery
5-Must have extensive experience in developing micro service-oriented architecture / Web services, SOAP / REST API.
6-Should have hands on experience and thorough knowledge in understanding of data structures and algorithms
7-Must have expertise in programming under Windows/UNIX/Linux
8-Working knowledge of development tools such as debuggers, profilers and tracing utilities
9-Experience with JDBC, microservices, docker, XSLT, JSON, Rest, angular JS including socket programming
10-Hands on multithreading experience, including race conditions, deadlocks, debugging, etc.
11-Excellent problem solving and multitasking skills, with a logical and pragmatic attitude
12-Real-time Data Processing, performance Tuning/Optimization (a plus)
13-Working experience in MYSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL would be plus
14-Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
15- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering and UX Designers, to design and deliver high-quality user interfaces.
Create UI designs that are visually appealing, easy to use, and meet the needs of the organization.

Team Management

1-Understand product architecture​ and explain to team

2-Review Jira Task and Effort Estimation

3-Evaluate design/approach taken to build card processing functionalities​

4-Prepare typical areas to be addressed as part of CMS platform - infra/capacity, performance of the system, etc. and provide recommendations on how REN fares against these parameters; areas of improvement ***​

5-Participate in solutioning discussions (internal)

6-Review technical design along with BAs to ensure correctness​

7-Code review before sprint closure​ (Internal)

8-Ensure creation and maintenance of internal/external review logs​

9-Ensure team is maintaining unit test logs​

10-Assist in queries/clarifications from the team, assist in trouble shooting issues​

11-Ensure creation of process docs, SOPs, repositories on an ongoing basis​

12-"Learning document creation & maintenance - capturing application/tech stack overview, tools, dev processes​.

Have walkthrough on those learning points for the team"

13-Analyze and identify delivery risk

14-Assess training needs
