The Role of the Team Manager is to manage a Team consisting of #Team member# , #Associate Manager# and #Team Executive # in ensuring the delivery of KPI as per SLA-OLA agreed with SBU. Timely negotiation of post shipment documents without discrepancy . Ensuring the timely issue of credit note and its payment . Timely availment of various credit , such as excise , DBK, MEIS benefits etc. Supporting the SBU in achieving the overall Business Goal.
Job description for the position at RCS
- Year End Activities:
a. Work with different teams across the organization to collect the budget inputs and finalize the same as a part of AOP exercise.
b. Combine AOP files and finalize overall RCS AOP by business and cost centre. Load the AOP in central portals of RIL
c. GRCA Risk review – assessment of identified risk, mitigation plan and status of the plan
d. Cost Audit of the site
- Budget Control:
a. Load quarterly budget into the system and have complete review of the same on quarter basis with respective stakeholders.
b. Guide AP & P&C team members to select right GL & Cost Centre mapping to capture actual amount against the budgeted GLs and cost centres.
- Common Cost - Working and Analysis:
a. Review of monthly common cost and allocation templates and make sure the correctness of common cost centres.
b. Review of allocation ratios of common cost centres on quarterly basis.
c. Review of Manpower cost and doing cost analysis – Quantity, Rate increase vs what is factored in budget.
- Month End Activities:
a. Monthly Pre-closure activities, key valuation entries, P&L Review (Pre-closure),
b. GST Validation (GL Vs Sales register balance confirmation)
c. Monthly P&L Notes for each of the business.

- Weekly & Daily activities
a. Operating Cashflow on weekly basis
b. Weekly MIS of Rolling forecast submission to corporate – Actual, AOP, Forecast
c. Yexp approval (Payment towards invoice without PO)
d. Export Price mapping
e. Shipping bill/Export confirmation/Reconciliation for export benefits
f. SAP configuration and costing issues configuration
g. Be instrumental in various SAP and digital projects.
- Key Attributes:
a. Proficiency in Communication, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
b. Team player and experience in handling multiple stakeholders of multiple departments
c. Financial acumen in terms of understanding trend, macro view
Education and Experience Required:
C.A. with minimum 5 years of work relevant experience
Education Requirement :
Graduate with higher education
Experience Requirement :
At least 7 #10 years experience, out of which RIL experience should not be less than 5 years.·
