SPAN OF COMMAND - Direct reports: 8+
Salary - 15% hike
Location - Hyderabad

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Accountable for building, developing, and leading the Hyderabad-based sourcing and sourcing administration team.
- Building and developing a scalable Hyderabad-based sourcing and sourcing administration team model and leading that team
- Responsible for the overall delivery and customer satisfaction for Hyderabad-based sourcing including looking for opportunities to expand services and activities delivered
- Supporting an environment that fosters employee career development
- Working towards lowering the cost per transaction, while achieving defined service quality levels
- Driving continuous improvements and strong performance of partner metrics such as quality, productivity, staffing, training, attrition, and efficiency
- Delivering and monitoring on SLAs and KPIs
Key Responsibilities:
1. Developing the sourcing and administration team initially a team of nine resources. This will include: recruiting and onboarding new team members, developing capabilities across the team, allocating and prioritising work to team members, performance management
2. Aligning on priorities and objectives for the team including KPIs and Service Levels - with Group and Divisional Procurement leads and Business Owners to ensure that their needs are met by the team
3. Monitoring the deliver of teams KPIs and Service levels where required taking corrective action
4. Ensuring that the team are equipped to deliver on their objectives identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement e.g. system requirements and enhancements, quality of intake forms, quality of interactions with Group and Divisional Business Owners and Procurement teams
5. Reviewing intake forms (requests from Business Owners for procurement support) ensuring that they are complete, clear and accurate and, based on the specific request, allocating and prioritising accordingly
6. Supporting and advising team members on executing their core tasks including: the management of specific product categories that they are accountable for including developing category plans and savings plans, managing sourcing events, supporting Group and Divisional Teams in managing large complex sourcing events and also completing required category reporting and savings trackers
7. Building category knowledge across the team and applying best practices around sourcing, supplier selection, total cost of ownership and negotiation
8. Work with suppliers and the business to optimise the Total Cost of Ownership
9. Work closely with others in the organization to assess opportunities for continuous improvement and evolution of sourcing services provided to group and divisional teams
Skills & Experience:
- 5 to 8 years of relevant Strategic Sourcing experience ideally in a Global setting, encompassing - sourcing, negotiation, contracting, risk management
- Experience in managing similar Procurement teams including performance management and stakeholder management
- Bachelors degree or relevant CIPS qualification is desirable
- Thorough understanding of the commercial environment, and best practices for sourcing and managing external partners
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills with proven value generation (cost-savings) results
- The ability to manage up and down the chain in a large complex organisation
- Excellent listening and communication skills with ability to present ideas in a concise and organized manner
- Extremely customer-focused and takes the time to understand the needs of the business
- Strong attention to detail, project coordination skills, results oriented and well organized
- Flexibility to work with team members across time zones
Staff Management:
- Manage colleagues covering Hyderabad-based Sourcing and Sourcing Administration Activities
- Recruit local staff in collaboration with local HR team
- Responsible for performance management of the team
- Develop team members in conjunction with leadership team so that they perform and contribute in a positive way to the success of the team, including developing and updating any required specific training.
