Team Lead - Product Data Operations

As a Team Lead in a Product Data Ops team, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of a team dedicated to managing and optimizing data and share product insights wherever needed. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data across various platforms and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, marketing, legal, billing ops, and sales, to ensure that data meets the needs of the organization and its customers.

What You’ll do?

• Leadership: Provide guidance, direction, and mentorship to a team of Product Data analysts and coordinators. Set clear goals, establish priorities, and ensure the team's performance aligns with organizational objectives.
• Data Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain processes for validating and verifying Product Data accuracy, consistency, and integrity. Develop and enforce data quality standards and best practices to improve overall data quality.
• Data Management: Oversee the collection, organization, and maintenance of data in databases and other systems. Ensure data is structured in a way that supports efficient retrieval, analysis, and reporting.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline and automate data management processes to improve efficiency and productivity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement tools and technologies that enhance Data Operations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product management, engineering, marketing, legal, billing ops, and sales teams to understand data requirements and priorities. Collaborate on initiatives to enhance data for internal and external stakeholders.
• Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to data quality, timeliness, and operational efficiency. Analyze trends, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Training and Development: Develop training programs and resources to educate team members on data management best practices, tools, and technologies. Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill development within the team.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on Data Operations, address concerns, and solicit feedback. Act as a liaison between the Product Data Operations team and other departments within the organization.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, computer science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data management, operations, or related roles.
• Proven leadership experience, including managing and developing teams.
• Strong understanding of data management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and technologies, such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Experience in hiring, team building, and fostering a positive team culture.
• Experience working in the startup culture is a plus.

Office Location and Shift Timings:

• This position is based in Bangalore, India. The candidate must be willing to work from the office located in Bangalore.
• The candidate must be willing to work regular Indian shift timings and demonstrate flexibility to accommodate PST hours based on business needs.
