Work you’ll do
As a Manager in our GES Tax team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. You will be:
- Managing engagement & teams
- Single point of contact for clients
- Handling various queries raised on taxation by Expats
- Guiding teams for Preparation of appeals submissions and other returns for representation in front of tax authorities and Compliances documents to be send to clients without review of partner
- Involve in advisory assignments like structuring
- Undertake fee negotiation with clients and billing activities
- Business Development initiatives
Services We Provide
Deloitte provides advisory and compliance services to address complex tax and employment issues associated with expanding global workforces, including immigration.
Advisory services
- Employee compensation structuring, including benefits and retirals
- New Labour Codes
- Assistance on social security matters
- Stock incentive plan design and cross-border taxation
- International mobility and policy design/review
- Outbound and inbound assignment/secondment structures
- Business reorganisation–impact on compensation and social security schemes
- Other general tax and Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) matters, impacting individuals and employer entities
- HNI tax planning
- Many of the above entail working with our technology tools and working closely with Deloitte teams in our Global network to provide a holistic solution to our clients
Compliance support
- Tax (covering both employer withholding/reporting and employee compliance)
- Social security
- Payroll compliance review–tax and social security
- Immigration services–consular visa, registration, renewals, etc
- Many of the above entail working with our technology tools and working closely with Deloitte teams in our Global network to provide a holistic solution to our clients
Qualifications
- C.A / MBA in Finance – Premier Institutes
- 4 -7 year Experience in Taxation (with minimal working experience of 3-4 years in expatriate taxation)
- Preferred Big 4 consulting
- Work experience in areas of Social Security, immigration and foreign exchange

- Uses common technology tools to improve work efficiency, effectiveness, and client service
