As an IT hardware engineer, will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of hardware infrastructure within an organization's IT environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of hardware systems, including servers, networking equipment, storage devices, and peripherals. Your expertise will contribute to the smooth operation of IT services and support the organization's business objectives.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot server hardware and operating systems (e.g., Windows Server,). Manage networking equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Implement and maintain storage solutions, including SAN, NAS, and RAID configurations. Perform hardware upgrades, patches, and firmware updates to ensure security and performance. Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate hardware systems with software applications and services. Provide technical support and assistance to end users and other IT staff as needed.
