Location: Bangalore

About the role


GENERAL JOB SUMMARY


Our company provides very comprehensive ERP, PLM, Financial, WMS, and EDI systems for the Fashion Industry. We are looking for a detailed orients individual that has experience in the onboarding of new Retail Trading partner EDI. You will be responsible for setting up, training, and communicating with our clients on our EDI translation software, to give them the ability to dynamically transact business electronically with their Customers and vendors


PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Become an expert in our EDI translation software and the areas of the application that are affected by EDI transactions
  • Configure communications and test connectivity with VANs to ensure our software can pick up and send EDI transactions
  • Learn how to utilize Trading partner portals (SPS Commerce, CommerceHub, DSCO, Vendor Central,) in order to be able to complete testing processes required by retailers.
  • Gather requirements from clients and their trading partners they wish to conduct business with
  • Train clients on the software
  • Conduct thorough testing of our software and how it communicates with its Customers and Vendors from A to Z to ensure our clients can get approval from their customers and vendors to go live on our software
  • Manage timelines and customer expectations for new trading partner projects
  • Create quotes for new trading partner setups
  • Communicate with internal teams and clients on the status of their projects

Work Experience
2+ year of experience on EDI implementation

Skills and Abilities

  • Support Engineer with 2-4 years of Experience Worked on transactions like 850, 810, 855, 856, 820, 997 in ANSI X12 and ORDERS, ORDRSP, DESADV, INVOIC, INVRPT in EDIFACT and Connectivity like OFTP, SFTP, FTPS AS2, FTP HTTP, GXS VAN.
  • TP profile Setup, Connectivity setup, EDI configuration and end to end testing
  • Experience in working with EDI translation Software
  • Experienced in looking at EDI data in its raw form
  • Experience in the setup of new EDI trading partnerships with Retailers like Amazon, Zappos, Macys, Nordstrom, Hudson Bay, etc.
  • Experience with Open Text online Catalog, Inovis Catalog, or Intertrade Catalog
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in working with the following EDI transaction sets, 832, 850, 856, 997, 810, and 860 EDI documents.
  • Experience in Warehouse/Distribution center integrations utilizing 940, 945, 943, 944 transaction sets a +
  • Experience with EDI testing portals like SPS-Commerce, DSCO, Commerce-HUB, Amazon Vendor Central
  • Experience in Electronic communication protocols such as FTP and SFTP
  • Ability to communicate clearly with clients
  • The ability to write clear and detailed emails to customers
  • Great organizational skills
  • Great follow up skills
