[ ABOUT THE ROLE ]
Krafton India is looking for a Sr. QA Tester with 4 to 6 years of gaming experience in mobile battle royal gaming and Tester with the knowledge of regression, retesting, Live QA and Functionality testing.
Responsibilities :
Write, manage and update test strategies with the Test Manager
Maintain quality conformance to internal standards and project specific requirements
Update all bug databases with accurate and complete information
Complete all tasks assigned, as per instructions and timelines
Work closely with other team-members to share, discuss and clarify issues essential to effective execution of project
Identify and help implement opportunities for improvement in security, quality and process controls
Ensure strict compliance to Information security policy and quality standards
Creates and executes maintenance test suites (regression, maintenance, smoke, sanity)
Creates and executes non-functional test suites (performance, endurance, load, usability, compatibility)
Analyse risks and what testing is needed to mitigate them
Creates and executes product test plans and strategies for releases including CDN test, Local payment test, Packet data collection, internal tool testing and review
Local language QA : Mainly English & Hindi
Ensure local language QA, with proficiency in English and Hindi, and a minimum requirement of Hindi localization
[ Qualification ]
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field
2 to 3 years of testing experience in Mobile Gaming
A genuine passion for mobile games and a good understanding of various game genres.
Fluent in Hindi and English
A good understanding of battle royale games and strategy game.
Experience with pre- and post-launch gaming projects.
Strong analytical skills to understand game mechanics, identify potential problems, and provide valuable feedback.
Basic knowledge of the game development life cycle and an understanding of the roles of various team members in the development process.
Knowledge of different testing methodologies, including functional testing, regression testing, and compatibility testing
Effective time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
[ Preferred Qualification ]
Working experience with industry-standard testing tools (TFS, JIRA, TestRail, ALM/Quality Centre, etc.) and debugging tools (ADB, Xcode, Fiddler, etc.)
Thorough understanding of SDLC, Bug lifecycle.
Ability to take on features or game areas that are technically more challenging e.g., profile syncing, data packet testing, metadata, or time-gated features.
Understand mobile hardware and the challenges related to compatibility testing.
Understand various network providers and the challenges related to network testing.
Experience working within Google Play Console, AppStore Connect and Admob.
