The role is with our core Testing team, which is supporting a big Migration Project. The role is part of the Automation testing team which aims to bring innovation and automation of Test cases to accelerate the project execution.
Responsibilities
- Developing Test automation scripts for the project
- Execution of Test scripts
- Techno Functional
- As part of the project we are looking to automate the test cases which can be reused for regression testing.
- Automation also is required to facilitate the smooth project delivery.
- You are expected to help accelerate the testing processes by automating test cases, performing regression and performance tests, and creating stubs to support various testing around Murex and surrounding applications.
- You should be able to showcase the test execution and help in automation stats and automation report preparations.
Skills
Must have
- Automation test engineer experience of 5+ years with expertise in testing methodologies and testing practices; a strong foundation in Test Automation
- Proven working experience on tools that support test automation like Postman, Rest Assured, SOAPUI, Jenkins
- Experience in developing and maintaining frameworks using test automation tools and understanding their strengths and limitations. And following a strategic approach to uplift automation and planning.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language and a scripting language such as Java, Python, and Java script.
- Experience using version control tools e.g., Git, Bitbucket.
- Experience in working on Agile projects and tools like Jira, Confluence, and X-ray.
- Keen eye for detail, be able to identify issues and errors and possess the ability to document them accurately.
- Identify compliance risks/issues and determine remediation plans working with Dev team.
- Knowledge of Security & Penetration Testing, Performance, and Volume testing.
- Should be an individual contributor who works closely with dev/Support/other application teams.
Nice to have
- Extensive experience creating API, microservices automated test suites.
- Knowledge of Murex booking system and trade booking using Murex.
