Solytics is seeking an experienced Market RiskBusiness Analyst with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Market Risk management. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in regulatory requirements, data analysis, and model methodology within the financial services sector.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze Market Risk regulations and ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., Basel III, Dodd-Frank, FRTB).
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of Market Risk data, identifying trends, anomalies, and potential areas of improvement.
- Actively contribute to the enhancement of risk reporting processes, providing insights and recommendations for better decision-making.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable strategies for managing Market Risk effectively.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory changes impacting Market Risk management.
Key Skills:
- 3+ years of progressive experience in Market Risk management within the financial industry.
- Experience in working on Murex Front Office module.
- Strong knowledge of financial products, Market Risk metrics, and risk management frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Market Risk regulations (Basel III, Dodd-Frank, etc.) and their application in a financial institution.
- Proficiency in data analysis, SQL, and risk management software/tools (e.g., Bloomberg, RiskMetrics, etc.).
- Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into functional specifications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certification in risk management (e.g., FRM) or business analysis (e.g., CBAP) is a plus.
