Overview
- Support the technical qualification of customers communication needs through knowledge of current, new, or evolving technologies, and the SITA solutions portfolio.
- Be the interface to customers on simple technical matters such as organic growth orders and simple opportunities.
- Design and co-ordinate the development of standardized and or proven business solutions Support the Solution Designers / Solution Architects on large customer opportunities by gathering access circuits quotations.
- Liaise with various internal stakeholders, such as Pricing, Customer Service, and Project Management, to build simple customer proposals.
- Validate the quality of the input data from the customer for processing successfully the orders Produce the list of orderable components (Bill of Material) and the low-level design describing, in meaningful detail for the implementation of the contracted customer solution.
- Check completeness of Technical Design Documents and Configure Low-Level Design in Tools
- Check & Validate Costs Components Completeness & Apply Customer Pricing.
- Perform Quotes refresh for costs optimization and Control pro-actively validity of quotes.
- Determining ways to prevent additional costs.
- Own the technical sections of the required Service Request Forms and submit them to the Project manager and/or Customer Service Manager, to get the orders validated at first submission.
- Order Creation in SITA & Vendor Tools and Submit Order for delivery.
- Manage corrective actions in case of rejection.
- Perform Alternative Quotes in case of Scope of work changes during delivery in case of the delivery issue highlighted by the Delivery Manager
- Support the Project manager and/or Customer Service Manager in the coordination of the final delivery/migration.
- Define and ensure that acceptance tests are carried out successfully.
- Effective attendance to service activation/migration conference calls if required by the Project manager and/or Customer Service Manager
- Compare assets with information in Billing and other systems.
- Accountable for data quality and Integrity (quality and timeliness of the information - updating Quotation and Ordering tools on the real-time basis
Qualifications
- At least 4 - 8 years of experience in Information Technology or Telecom Industry.
- Technical Expertise: MPLS IPVPN, SDWAN VERSA / Viptela/Cisco, Network, Reverbed, Zscaler.
- Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or Computer Technologies* Technical certifications would be a plus (e.g. Cisco CCNA ITILV3)
