Objective: The incumbent is expected to work closely withExxonMobil’s Field Engineering (FES) & Sales Team in collaboration withDistributor team of assigned territories and should possess good understandingof Industrial and Automotive applications therein to further blend knowledge ofindustrial & automotive lubricants for delivering Value based solutions tocustomers.
Key Results / Accountability:
- A field based TSE to support the Industrial & Automotive businesses of ExxonMobilLubricants by supporting customers through technical services.
- Should assist in identifyingand developing new opportunities for obtaining customer recognised Valuethrough innovative thinking and benefit selling.
- Responsible for supportingon-going field trials of high performance oils & greases through regularvisits & by maintaining proper co-ordination and communication with thestake-holders.
- Responsible for carryingExxonMobil’s motto of Safety first & must follow 3rd party sitesafety principles & Job-Safety Analysis pre-requisites during customervisits.
- Should be able to carry outequipment inspections & further should know using MS Word for creating andsubmitting inspection reports.
- Will be required to conducton-site technical lube clinics and workshops at times for enhancing brandawareness and while soliciting new business opportunities.
- Attending and managing customercomplaints arising due to application or lubricant related reasons and shouldbe able to provide inputs to prepare reports on Root Cause failure analysis.
- Should be able to understandExxonMobil’s range of Industrial & Automotive lubricants for deliveringValue to customer

Requirements
Education: A Bachelor’s Degree (B.E. or B.Tech.) in Mechanical/Automobile Engineeringwill be an advantage.
Experience: This role requires a minimum 3years of experience in mechanical maintenance, field based technical servicesor sales engineering and should possess good understanding of Industrialapplications like cement, power, steel plants etc. and/or automotiveapplications like engines, transmissions, hydraulics etc. Must have soundunderstanding of customers and an experience withLubricants Industry shall be preferred (optional).
